COLO SPRGS, CO (Sept. 13, 2022) – USA Shooting’s 2022 Sporting Clays Cup will be held at the American Shooting Centers in Houston, Texas, Nov. 17-19, where participants have the opportunity to meet and shoot with Olympic athletes.

This biennial event hosted by ASC, started in 2014 and has raised over $650,000 for the USA Shooting Team. With the 2022 World Championships approaching, this will be the can’t-miss sporting clays fundraiser of the season.

USA Shooting athletes are on a role as they move into the 2022 World Championships and prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The team brought home six medals from the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games last year.

The 2022 National Sporting Clays Cup kicks off on Nov. 17 with a dinner and live auction. On Nov. 18, participants will practice with USA Shooting Olympians at the American Shooting Centers ranges.

The main event starts on Nov. 19 with the Army Marksmanship Unit giving a demonstration followed by a live auction that includes hunting and fishing trips as well as Olympic memorabilia up for grabs.

After the live auction, there will be a shoot off followed by awards for the competition.

USA Shooting Olympians that will be in attendance include Vincent Hancock, a three-time Olympic Gold Medalist in Men’s skeet; Amber English, a 2020 Olympic Gold Medalist in Women’s Skeet; Kayle Browning, 2020 Olympic Silver Medalist in Women’s Trap; Derrick Mein, a 2020 Olympian and three-time ISSF World Cup medalist in Men’s Trap; Brian Burrows and Madelynn Bernau, 2020 Olympic Bronze Medalists in Mixed Team Trap; and Glenn Eller, a five-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist.

The USA Shooting Team relies entirely on funding from individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and partner organizations to compliment support from the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Supporting the USA Shooting Team will help keep our American shooters training, competing, and winning as we get closer to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Participants can show their support through various sponsor levels, team entries or individual entries. The various sponsor levels consist of packages that include tickets to the VIP dinner, recognition signage, participation in the shooting practice and competition as well as other perks.
