Biography:

Dustan Taylor got his start with shotgun at 12 years old in 2006 when he was introduced to Craig and Tommy Kirkman in Staley, North Carolina. Dustan then excelled quickly under the tutelage of Stuart brown and won his first National Skeet Shooting Association World title in the 28ga event in 2010. In 2011, he became the first person to win the High Overall Title at the World Shoot with a perfect 450x450.

The next year he was challenged to shoot an international style skeet match against Dania Vizzi, a now national team member. Dania won the match, but Dustan was hooked.

Dustan joined the U.S Army Marksmanship Unit in 2013 and has been making strides since. He currently has two International Shooting Sport Federation World Cups medals, four Championship of the Americas medals, and an ISSF World Championship medal.

At the 2022 Championship of the Americas Games, he took home gold in Men’s Skeet and earned a U.S. Olympic quota for the Paris 2024 Games.

Dustan is on the USA Shooting 2023 World Championship and Pan American Games teams. He is looking to make his Olympic debut at in Paris 2024.
